These are just a few of my most exciting finds in my favorite mermaid wonderland, the Oregon Coast Tide pools. Only accessible at certain times of year, every opportunity to see a new intertidal zone resident is a thrill! The Sunflower Sea star centerpiece rebounded on the Oregon Coast in 2024, inspiring me to create this drawing after finding two adults in our local tide pool. 
Can you find all the Tide pools Treasures? Flat-tipped Forked Seaweed, Sea Lemon, Nudibranch, Limpets, Northern Striped Dogwinkles, Sand Dollar, Sunflower Sea Star, Ochre Sea Star, Sea Urchin, Anemones , Chiton, Barnacles and Crab.
